MODERN business demands that entrepreneurs utilize the use of technology for them to grow, Liquid Telecom managing director Andrew Kapula has said.
Mr Kapula said technology had become part of the factors that enhanced business growth.
Speaking when he launched the Fibronics internet product, he said embracing technology would foster economic growth.
He announced that the company had invested US $1 million in the installation of the internet system in Lusaka.
“We have set aside a total of US $1 million for the installation of the Fibronics system in Kabulonga and Sunningdale in Lusaka,’’ he said.
Mr Kapula said the project was expected to take two months to set up in which customers would receive free connection. He said initially the project was targeting 15,000 homes within the two areas.
He explained that Fibronics internet was fast and would help the company service their customers better.
He said with Fibronics customers would not experience degradation because the system did not allow for congestion and was fast and accurate.
He said the company was working towards serving the customers better as they were the promoters of business growth. “We need to make consumers feel well serviced in order for them not to feel cheated of their money,” he said.
He said technology was an enabling factor if businesses were to grow.
