SUPERIOR Milling has donated food items worth K 1,600 to Cheshire Homes as one way of celebrating the festive season with the physically challenged and needy in the society.
Speaking at Cheshire Homes in Lusaka’s Kabulonga, Superior Milling managing director Peter Cottan applauded the Cheshire Homes management for the wonderful work they were doing to take care of children with various physical challenges, and affirmed that the company could be depended on as a partner to assist in any possible way.
Mr Cottan said the donation of twenty 25 kg bags of mealie meal was a gesture of support for the institution especially that the festive season was around the corner. He also assured the management that it was not a one-off event and encouraged them to inform them of any other needs.
“The work that you are doing here is wonderful you are giving hope to these children that there is hope of a better future.
We would like to assure you of our support and that this donation is not a one off thing but that you can call on us anytime and we will respond to your needs,” he said.
Meanwhile, Radio Christian Voice public relations manager Liomee Vosloo also donated clothes items and kitchen utensils.
Cheshire Homes sister in charge Clara thanked Superior Milling and Radio Christian Voice for the donations.
