Dear Editor,
I wish to make my earnest appeal to government to completely ban street vending and salaula in the wake of killer cholera. These are breeding grounds for cholera germs. Other African countries like Rwanda have banned salaula for the same reasons. Let this be a timely warning, especially to politicians who have always politicized street vending for their pockets. Street vending is ugly for all the reasons it stands for!
