CHISHIMBA Kambwili’s number one enemy is his mouth and he has been warned to tame his tongue where the President is concerned.
Speaking at a press conference in Lusaka yesterday, Patriotic Front (PF) secretary-general Davis Mwila said that Mr Kambwili’s number one enemy was his mouth.
Mr Mwila warned that PF would not take kindly to Mr Kambwili’s childish and provocative remarks targeted at President Edgar Lungu.
He charged that the expelled Roan Member of Parliament would find it very difficult to practice his politics if he continued with his insults against the Head of State.
Mr Mwila reiterated that Mr Kambwili would have his greatest regret very soon if he seeks provocative politics.
He said that Mr Kambwili was a coward as he had opted to run to the courts when challenged to face the ruling party in by -elections following his expulsion from the PF.
Mr Mwila said that PF had also hired a strong team of lawyers and that it was ready to defend its action against its expelled member.
“We are happy that he has apologised for his insults against the Tonga tribe. His number one enemy is his mouth. It remains for him to apologise for his blasphemous statement against the Lord Jesus Christ, something he should have done in the first place.
“The Party is ready to defend its action against expelled Roan Member of Parliament Hon Chishimba Kambwili in Court. To this effect, the Party has retained the services of the lawyers, Eric Silwamba, SC, of Eric Silwamba, Bonaventure Mutale, SC, of Ellis and Company and Mr Simwanza Lungu,” he said.
Mr Mwila said that PF was itching to defend Roan Constituency and to put someone’s self-proclaimed popularity to a test.
He expressed confidence that anyone who dared face the PF for the Roan seat would fall.
