CHISHIMBA Kambwili’s corruption allegations are simply put, “His ‘fists of fury’ that do not reflect leadership”, the Rufunsa District council Chairperson, Mr Bartholomew Kalambalala has charged.
Mr Kalambalala, who is also the District Patriotic Front committee vice chairperson, has challenged Mr Kambwili to swallow his pride and shut up as he is not the right person to make unfounded claims.
“He was the government spokesperson and went about speaking well of the party during his reign, what corruption has he seen now that he is out,” he asked. He termed Mr. Kambwili ranting as the ‘last kicks of a dying horse’. He revealed that the Rufunsa Constituency PF committee had resolved not to entertain his noisy and irritating tune.
Mr Kalambalala wondered what kind of leader Mr Kambwili was denouncing and attacking the very party and government of which he was part of. He alleged that if Kambwili was a genuine leader, he would have made the revelations when he was in government. “We have a lot of questions about his integrity. His fury will take him nowhere!” he said.
“Rufunsa is enjoying massive developments which include: Rural electrification and construction of government employee houses which were unthinkable in time past,” he told the Daily Nation.
