GHANAIAN President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo yesterday arrived in Zambia on a four-day working visit at the invitation of his counterpart President Edgar Lungu.
The plane carrying President Akufo-Addo, who was accompanied by his wife Rebecca Victoria Akufo-Addo touched down at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport at 18:15hrs.
President Akufo-Addo was welcomed by President Edgar Lungu, First Lady Esther Lungu, Cabinet Ministers, senior government officials and the Ghanaian community based in Zambia.
President Akufo-Addo’s tour of duty will see him officially open the Zambia International Trade Fair in Ndola.
The visiting head of State would also today lay wreaths at the embassy park presidential burial site and hold official talks at State House before meeting First President Kenneth Kaunda.
In the evening President Lungu would host his visiting counterpart a State Banquet at State House.
And President Akufo-Addo would tomorrow visit Amatheon Agri Farm in Mumbwa before departing for Ndola later in the afternoon.
