… Zambians will not vote for deceivers
By AARON CHIYANZO
ZAMBIANS will not be deceived into voting for leaders with ill-gotten wealth and a history of mismanaging the privatization of parastatal companies which was entrusted to them with outmost faith, Zambia Republican Party (ZRP) president Wright Musoma has charged.
The opposition leader said being rich did not necessarily mean one had wisdom or intelligency.
And Mr Musoma said that Zambians should give a deaf ear to UPND vice president for politics, Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba’s uncultured language, because he always uttered nonsense.
The opposition leader was reacting to Mr Mwamba’s call on Zambians to vote for rich people, whom he claimed would not steal public resources.
Mr Musoma said that some rich opposition leaders in Zambia had already forfeited the trust of Zambians following their mismanagement of the privatization of parastatal companies.
He reiterated that Mr Mwamba, popularly known as GBM was offside as Zambians could not afford to vote for leaders selfishly hiding their money in offshore accounts.
Mr Musoma said that Zambians would never vote for leaders whose sources of wealth were shrouded in secrecy.
“GBM is offside, that one always talks nonsense and no one can listen to him. Zambians cannot be deceived by those two,” he said.
Meanwhile, Mr Musoma said that President Edgar Lungu had done well for the country even if he did not come from a rich background.
He pointed out that the Head of State had been able to deliver because he understood the suffering of the Zambian people.
Mr Musoma charged that rich people were only bent on having power in their hands at the expense of the poor people
