… To avoid any disturbing incidences
By AARON CHIYANZO
THE Zambia Centre for Interparty Dialogue (ZCID) should expedite the proposed dialogue to avoid any disturbing incidences owing to the derogatory route the UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema has resorted to, Bishops Council of Zambia (BCZ) Secretary General, Reverend Able Kaela has demanded.
Rev Kaela charged that bitter words the UPND leader had continually been peddling against the Head of State risked landing him in trou-ble.
Rev Kaela reiterated that in as much as some sections of society were doubting whether the proposed dialogue would produce any tangible results, it was worth giving a try.
“We should just give the dialogue process a chance, we might avoid a lot of incidences with the dialogue. ZCID should expedite the process because now are left in the dark, we don’t know what is going on. What are they waiting for?” he questioned.
Rev Kaela also said that the church was ready to help with the dialogue process and just waiting for the whole procedure to commence. He advised the UPND leader to tone down as the dialogue process, which he said should involve all political players to begin.
Meanwhile, all political parties have since indicated their readiness for the proposed dialogue.
