A WELL known politician was reportedly advised by South African based prophet, Shepherd Bushiri that he would become
republican President if he left government, Zambia Republican Party (ZRP) president Wright Musoma has charged.
And Musoma said that the politician was also averting the axe because he had intelligence information that President Edgar Lungu was aware of his activities.
Mr Musoma reiterated that contrary to the lies the politician was peddling, he was misled by the prophecies of Prophet Bushiri that he would take over from President Edgar Lungu.
He told the Daily Nation that the politician was taking steps to position himself for Presidency, as instructed by his spiritual father. Mr Musoma challenged the politician to come clean and declare his intentions.
“We all know that his spiritual father Bushiri told him that he was taking over from President Lungu,” he said.
Meanwhile Mr Musoma has advised former government ministers to resign from the ruling Patriotic Front (PF) if the system was as corrupt as they alleged. Mr Musoma also said some politicians were just safe-guarding their retirement and not that they had the interest of the people at heart.
The opposition party leader mocked the politician that he looked forward to his inauguration as President when the prophecies came to pass.
