By MULENGA MUSONDATWO secondary school pupils are on the verge of appearing before the High Court for allegedly staging a robbery and getting away with wigs valued at over K300.Donald Mwaanga 20, a Grade 11 pupil and his 17-year-old accomplice who is in Grade 12 appeared in the Choma Magistrates Court charged with one count of aggravated robbery contrary to section 294, Chapter 87 of the Penal Code of the laws of Zambia.Allegations are that the two with others unknown stole 10 wigs and a disc all valued at K320, the property of Ms Beauty Ngonji.It is alleged that the two used actual violence before or after stealing the items to overcome resistance or retain the stolen items.The incident is said to have occurred on November 27, 2020 in Choma and the two have remained in custody since, a revelation that angered the court.The magistrate called for the arresting officer and the probation officer to […]
