By NATION REPORTER THE Southern African Development Community (SADC) and the Common Market for Eastern and Southern African (COMESA) have endorsed the candidature of Zambia’s Samuel Maimbo for the position of Africa Development Bank (AfDB) president. SADC Chairperson who is also Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa led a joint press briefing with COMESA Chairperson who is also Burundi President Évariste Ndayishimiye, and Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema.
