By NATION REPORTER THE Gen-Z Movement has written to the Chief Justice Dr Mumba Malila and all judges expressing its disappointment over the apparent disregard for established judicial principles in the handling of the eligibility case involving former President Edgar Lungu. On behalf of the Gen-Z Zambia Movement, Chanda Chikwanka said the eyes of the nation were on the judiciary and so judges out to rise above external pressures and deliver justice in the in the case of Mr Lungu. “We beseech the Constitutional Court and the entire judiciary to uphold their independence and professionalism. The decisions you make today will shape the destiny of this nation. Will you stand for justice and integrity, or will you allow yourselves to be swayed by political interests?” Ms Chikwanka wondered.
