By SILUMESI MALUMOONE of the Catholic nuns who were attacked in Itezhi -Tezhi, Matildah Mulenga has died.The two nuns of St Barbara Parish in Itezhi-Tezhi were brutally assaulted by an unidentified man in August.Sister Akuffor Assumptor aged 48 and Sister Matildah Mulenga, aged 57 were attacked on August 24, this year at around 21:00 hours at Kataba Parish convent house.They were attacked at their convent by a masked man who wanted to steal from them.Sister Mulenga sustained a deep cut on the forehead and injuries on the eye while Sister Akuffor sustained a deep cut on the head after being hit with an iron bar.Police in the district launched a manhunt for the criminals behind the brutal attack.
