CITIZENS should put aside personal interests and celebrate the Independence Day while observing Covid-19 health guidelines, Chief Mumena of Kalumbila has advised.The Kaonde chief said with covid-19 guidelines in place, people should participate in Independence celebrations without being inhibited.Chief Mumena said that in his chiefdom people had been adequately sensitized on how to celebrate this year’s Independence amidst covid-19 and on what they need to do.He was speaking in an interview.“The people have been adequately sensitized on covid-19 and on what they need to do.
