By JOHN KOMBEChongwe acting district chairman, Charles Mumena has ditched the Patriotic Front (PF), saying that he needed time to reflect on his political career following what he termed as the party’s failure to effectively engage the electorate in the August 12 general elections.Mr. Mumena announced his resignation during a press briefing in Chongwe yesterday. He told the media that he was resigning from the PF in order to reflect on his next political move.He described his resignation as part of the rebranding process, stating that rebranding would mean some leaving the party to allow people with fresh ideas to move the party forward.Mr. Mumena who has served as councilor under MMD and PF for 25 years said that he was not resigning to join another political party.
