By Makokwa Clara MuyendekwaChoma will in the first quarter of 2022 have a title deeds registry office, Southern Province Minister Cornelius Mweetwa has said.He was speaking in Choma when he officiated during the re-opening of the refurbished Zambia National Building Society branch.Mr Mweetwa explained that this will cut the long distance covered by locals to access the services to Lusaka.He said this will also be a way in which services will be brought closer to the people and get motivated to build more infrastructure including houses.The minister observed that some people are currently hindered to get financial help from institutions due to lack of title deeds which are not issued in the town.Mr Mweetwa urged the Zambia Building Society to work towards making it easy for locals to build and own infrastructure through the services they provide.” We currently do not even attain the required standard infrastructure for hosting even soccer players, that’s why they […]
