By NOEL IYOMBWATHE recently held elections have shown the possibility of political alliances working in Zambia after many years of failed attempts, Southern African Centre for the Constructive Resolution of Disputes (SACCORD) executive director Boniface Chembe has said.Mr Chembe said that the fact that the incoming UPND Alliance succeeded in winning an election provides an opportunity for stakeholders to learn and understand what ingredients were put together to make the alliance succeed. He explained that drawing such lessons will allow for political parties to know and understand how best to form alliances in future for better electoral victory. He stressed that what is critical is to follow how successful the alliance will be following the electoral victory and based on successes or failures of the alliance in governing.
