By OLIVER SAMBOKOTHERE is a likelihood that Zesco installations were sabotaged by the opposition mercenaries which led to a countrywide blackout on Sunday and therefore the need to institute an investigation and increase security on all sensitive infrasctracture as the country votes tomorrow, PF member Chris Changwereza has said.On Sunday unknown people brought down a 330kV transmission line in Kabwe in an act suspected to be clear sabotage, a possible cause of the widespread power blackout the country experienced.Mr Changwereza said in an interview that Government should institute an investigation to find out how the country was blackout few days to the general election.He said there is need to identify culprits behind the sabotage on the power installations in order to safeguard the economy.
