By ROGERS KALEROTHE body of a 78-year-old fisherman who drowned on Makoma dam in Luanshya on July 24 has been discovered floating, Copperbelt Commissioner of Police Elias Chushi has saidMr Chushi said the body of Godfrey Kaluba was found floating on Makoma dam around 06.00hours on Thursday last week by fisherman who eventually retrieved it.According to details, Mr Kaluba had gone fishing on the dam on July 24, this year with his colleague, but drowned in the process.The other man was rescued by a passerby who noticed that there was an accident on the dam.Mr Chushi said the body was seen floating on the dam and eventually retrieved by the fishermen who are camped there.“Be informed that the body was seen floating on the dam by the fishermen who are camped around the dam and was eventually retrieved,” Mr Chushi said.
