By KALOBWE BWALYAPOLICE in Lusaka yesterday warned and cautioned Resident Doctors Association of Zambia president, Brian Sampa for inciting persons employed in the provision of essential services.Dr Sampa is alleged to have been instigating a go-slow to pressurize the government to pay doctors salary arrears, recruit over 500 unemployed doctors and to have those who have been serving for some time promoted.Police spokesperson Esther Katongo confirmed that Dr. Sampa has been cautioned for allegedly inciting persons employed in the provision of essential services contrary to section 107 subsection (5) and (7) chapter 269 of the Industrial and Labour Relations Act.Ms. Katongo said that this was alleged to have occurred between May12 and June 1, 2021 in Lusaka.When contacted, Dr Sampa however maintained that he would not be silenced, that nothing had changed about his agenda to fight for the plight of doctors.
