Tue, 20 Feb 2018 09:30:44 +0000 By AARON CHIYANZO THE police command has taken up the matter where officers at Lusaka’s Emmasdale Police Station are reportedly shielding suspects behind the hit and run accident in which a teacher, Paul Njovu lost a leg. Mr Njovu, aged 27 and a teacher by profession is recovering at the University Teaching Hospital after his leg was amputated following an accident on January 4 in the Emmasdale area. “My life has been shattered and will never be the same again because my leg is gone,” he said. Police officers at Emmasdale Police Station who were at the scene are however reluctant to investigate the matter despite the police identifying the vehicle in question which was abandoned at the accident scene.
