Mr Bin Hafiz, whose appointment became effective from February 1, 2018, was now responsible for Emirates’ overall business in Zambia. He would be overseeing sales and service functions for the airline’s passenger, cargo, management and airport operations and reports directly to Orhan Abbas, Emirates’ senior vice president, and commercial operations Africa. Mr Bin Hafiz holds a Bachelor’s degree in business from Dubai Men’s College, where his studies included e-commerce. In a statement to the Daily Nation, the new country manager has worked for the airline for eight years, during which he served in the same position in Morocco for three years and district manager in Riyadh for one year.
