The Head of State said those spreading pessimistic views about infrastructural development were merely trying to obstruct the vision of what Mr Sata wanted for Zambia. He said there were some within the party that were against his progress in achieving the objectives set by the late president, and warned that as long as he remained in charge of the country, the legacy would live on. “You will note that in all his political life, he considered infrastructure development as a strong foundation and prerequisite for job creation and poverty reduction. “As a caring leader, he understood the challenges of his people and that’s why his policies were always pro-poor throughout,” he said.
