And another truck loaded with 130 logs of mukula logs has been impounded in Mwinilunga. North Western Province Commissioner of Police Auxensio Daka told the Daily Nation the trucks were intercepted on Sunday around 14:00 hours in Ntengu Game Management Area. “I can confirm that a combined team of officers from Forestry Department, National Parks and Zambia Police intercepted nine trucks loaded with Mukula logs after a tip from the public,” Mr Daka said. He said the 9 trucks are parked at Kasempa nine police while eight out of nine drivers are in police custody to help with investigations. “Only one driver is on the run,” Mr Daka added.
