Mr Mulenga has since asked President Lungu to set up a task force that would deal with matters of corruption as the public has lost confidence with the ACC that had appeared to be toothless, especially on matters bordering on the interests of the nation. Mr Mulenga said that the ACC had been taking long in investigating matters, saying it was for that reason the issues of corruption had continued despite efforts that were made by the relevant authority. “We are hoping the ACC will expedite the investigations, owing to the fact that President Lungu has spoken.
