The criminals who escaped using a blanket to jump out of the highly secured police cell were facing offences of murder, aggravated robbery and theft. The suspects whose escape has left many police officers at the Livingstone Central Police Station shocked appear to have been aided by officers. According to information obtained by the Daily Nation, the three criminals whose names have been withheld escaped from custody in the early hours of Monday morning. Sources within the police have disclosed that the suspect who was facing a murder charge has been in detention for one month while the one facing aggravated robbery has been in custody for 18 days.
