Mr Nyenjele confirmed to the Daily Nation that works on the hospital were progressing smoothly. He explained that Mansa General Hospital was currently congested due to the high number of patients it was receiving from all the districts in the province. He said the construction of the hospital was part of Government’s efforts to provide better health care in the district. “Again, we are happy with President Edgar Lungu for giving us a district hospital. This confirms his commitment to deliver quality health care to the people of Mansa district and Luapula Province at large,” he said.
