ZB country director Annabel Degroot said the money was meant to increase the production of their Eagle brand. Speaking during a media tour of Lusaka’s Mungwi road production plant recently, Ms Degroot said the company had already invested US$250,000 in the purchasing of a cassava processing machine for the brewing of Eagle beer. “We are in the process of investing US$30 million at our Ndola plant for the production of Eagle beer, and we recently bought a cassava processing machine worth US$250,000; this investment is meant to build the production capacity of our Eagle beer brand, “she said.
