Fri, 03 Mar 2017 10:42:59 +0000 PRESIDENT Edgar Lungu says he is humbled to visit the old city of Jerusalem in Israel from where the Christian faith and Judaism started. The President visited, among others, the Mount of Olives where Jesus was captured by the Jews, Golgotha where he was executed and the tomb where he spent three nights before resurrection. He said the history of religion was centred on seeking the creator of mankind and the purpose of humanity. The Head of State however said over the years people have distorted religion and politicised it, which has resulted in violence and killings. And President Edgar Lungu has invited an Israeli company, ODIS Filtering, to assist Zambia with technology in the management of water.
