All these activities require huge expenditure to be incurred. This requires appropriate planning and policy of the government. The solution to all these problems is “Budget”. A Budget is a document containing detailed programmes and policies of action for the given fiscal year. On November 11 2016, the Minister of Finance, Felix Mutati presented a K64.5 billion national budget to Parliament which had detailed information on how Government plans to improve lives of citizens while growing the economy. Government plans to execute the budget mainly through the domestic revenue collection.
