Works and Supply Permanent Secretary Major Francis Kapono Kamanga, however, when contacted could not confirm the allegations as he was in Chinsali. Major Kamanga told the Daily Nation in a telephone interview that he was not aware and could not comment on the matter because he was not in the office.
