Wed, 19 Sep 2012 17:11:09 +0000 Former Community Development Minister Michael Kaingu has been elected MMD vice president in charge of politics with Dr Brain Chituwo going through unopposed as vice president in charge of administration. This was after the former ruling party National Executive Committee (NEC) held elections to fill vacant positions in the party at its secretariat. Two other contestants for the positions, Lucky Mulusa (politics) and Muhabi Lungu failed to win the support of the electorates. Former vice chairman Kabinga Pande has been elevated as National chairman following the resignation of Mr Michael Mabenga while former Kafue Member of Parliament and Livestock and Fisheries Minister Bradford Machila is the new chairperson for legal affairs.
