In an interview with Daily Nation Sports, newly appointed FAZ communications manager Desmond Katongo said FAZ expected the seven teams participating in the tournament to be in the country between February 23 and 25. Katongo hawever noted that FAZ will not be responsible to cover accommodation costs to those teams coming for the U-20 Africa cup tournament before February 23. “Teams are expected to be in the country on February 23 and everything has been put in place but some teams have decided to come before February 23 which means they will have to cover the cost themselves not until the 23 of February,” Katongo said.
