By GIDEON NYENDWA THE Tonse Alliance has announced a series of interim leadership appointments as the coalition finalizes its larger leadership structure, Zambia’s Sixth President Edgar Lungu has said. In a statement released on behalf of the alliance, Dr. Lungu, who is the Tonse Allaince chairperson and Patriotic Front (PF) president has named key figures to various national leadership roles, emphasizing their role in guiding and coordinating Tonse activities. Among those appointed included Brain Mundubile, the Mporokoso Member of Brian Mundubile, will serve as the National Parliamentary Affairs Chairman, with Mr. Chifumu Banda SC, vice president of the Forum for Democracy and Development (FDD), as his deputy. In youth leadership, Mr. Celestine Mukandila has been appointed National Youth Chairman, while Mr. Jason Mwanza, the Founding President of Gen Z, will serve as Vice Chairman.
