By GIDEON NYENDWA PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema has said Zambians must not complain that former President Edgar Lungu imprisoned him for no reason, as it was God’s plan to prepare him to take over the governance of the country. Speaking during the coronation of Commonwealth Secretary General Patricia Scotland as Senior Headwoman Butambo of Bwengwa under Chief Hamusonde’s chiefdom, President Hichilema said his imprisonment politically had weakened former President Lungu to the extent that he was destined to lose the 2021 general election. “My imprisonment finished Mr. Lungu completely and his still finishing,” President said.
