By GIDEON NYENDWA AN official investigation conducted by Government following reports that Lusaka’s Chunga Compound has deposits of copper and gold, which has in the past few days magnetised several residents has revealed that in fact the discovery is nothing but false alarm. Instead, the area only has primarily iron ore, specifically magnetite, which has been deemed non-economically viable. The claims of the precious minerals have been dismissed by the Minister of Mines and Minerals Development Paul Kabuswe, following an official investigation.
