By NATION REPORTER THE Zambia Police has been politically weaponized and it is now being used to persecute political opponents and those with divergent views and settle political scores, the Law Association Zambia (LAZ) has said. Lungisani Zulu, the LAZ president says criminal law should never be abused to persecute political opponents or those with divergent views and perpetuate the abuse and infringement of citizens’ freedoms and rights.
