By GRACE CHAILE FORMER UPND Katuba Member of Parliament Bampi Kapalasa has filed a petition demanding the nullification of the appointment of Constitutional Court judges by President Hakainde Hichilema, except for Justice Margaret Munalula. Mr Kapalasa contends in a petition with the Constitutional Court citing the Attorney General that the other seven judges on the bench do not meet the qualifications required by the constitution. He argues that the judges do not have specialised training or experience in human rights or constitutional law, as required by Article 141(b) and 141(2) of the constitution.
