By NATION REPORTER SOME people in Zambia and Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) have continued to engage in activities inimical to the interests of both countries, a Joint Permanent Commission on Defence and Security has noted. The Zambia-Democratic Republic of Congo Joint Permanent Commission on Defence and Security has noted that the threat of terrorism as well as increased transnational crimes had the potential to undermine not only the security of the two countries but also the realisation of a common vision. The 13th session of the Zambia-DRC Joint Permanent Commission was held in Kitwe from November 4 – 8, 2024 and Ambrose Lufuma the Defence Minister led the Zambian delegation while Shabani Jacquemain represented the DRC delegation.
