By Nation ReporterTHE Zambia Public Procurement Authority (ZPPA) has suspended two companies for a period of two years and one year respectively for failing to meet contractual obligations despite having received down payments.ZPPA acting Director General Justin Matimuna announced during a press briefing yesterday that Hossain Enterprises Limited failed to perform its contractual obligations by non-performance of the contract and contravened section 96 (g) of the Public Procurement Act.Mr Matimuna said Hossain Enterprises Limited was given a contract by Mushindamo Town Council to construct a bridge and embankment on Mulalashi Stream in Kikola Ward and construction of culverts and embankment on Kyambulumina and Kafwemba streams and made a down payment of K120, 440.56 to the supplier which translated to 15 percent of CLICK TO READ MORE
