ZCCP calls for concerted efforts from stakeholders in GBV fight

THE Zambia Centre for Communication Project (ZCCP) – Kwatu has called for concerted efforts from all stakeholders in the fight against Gender Based Violence (GBV) in Luapula ProvinceZCCP – Kwatu Deputy Chief of Party Rita Nachidze made the call during a multi-disciplinary management of Gender Based Violence cases workshop held in Nchelenge district.Ms. Nachidze said ZCCP – Kwatu is a government project with financial support from USAID PEPFAR and her organization is supplementing government’s effort in reducing GBV cases in the province.She said the training in case management of GBV survivors will help stakeholders deal with GBV issues in a professional manner.Ms. Nachidze added that the fight against GBV should take a multisectoral approach hence the need for concerted efforts from all stakeholders.She said almost all the districts in the province have one stop centres which have the capacity and skills to handle GBV related issues.The Deputy Chief of Party disclosed that the project will […]
