By NATION REPORTERWE are glad that we are on course with the process of converting our mineral endowments into value-added resources for the manufacture of electric vehicles and other machinery which run on renewable energy, Finance and National Planning Minister Situmbeko Musokotwane has said.Dr Musokotwane, who recently attended the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland said the team returned home with a renewed sense of optimism and encouragement to begin the process of converting mineral endowments into value-added resources.He said his delegation left Davos with a sense of satisfaction due to the quality of engagements they had at the forum and the encouraging responses obtained from prospective investors especially in renewable energy and mining sectors.Dr Musokotwane said once actualised, he was confident that job creation and growth would be boosted.“After a week of information exchange among government leaders, private sector players and civil society, we return to Zambia with renewed insights into the international perspectives […]
