Prolonged lack of representation in Kabushi, Kwacha worry youths

By LUMBIWE MWANZATHE prolonged lack of representation in Kabushi and Kwacha constituencies is now a worry among youths as it is at the expense of Zambians, Zambia National Youth Think Tank has said.The Lusaka High Court on Tuesday granted Mr Bowman Lusambo and Mr. Joseph Malanji a stay for the Kabushi and Kwacha by-elections not to proceed as scheduled on September 15, 2022 until the main matter in court is determined.Speaking to Millennium Radio, the organisation’s executive director, Mr Mumba Tebulu said it is important that the constitution is quickly revised and clauses clearly translated to help in executing elections in the country.He has since urged government to facilitate an all stakeholders’ engagement on the constitution and ensure that elections are held in a more transparent and credible manner.
