By Irvin MuyumbwaTHE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Relations has been challenged to state clearly whether it has allowed advocacy around Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender-LGBT within Zambia.This follows a controversial move by the Swedish and Finish Embassies in Zambia to fly a rainbow flag, a symbol of LGBT which is also known as the gay pride flag during the International Day against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia on Tuesday.But former Foreign Affairs Minister Harry Kalaba , who is also Democratic Party President, says Zambia is a Christian nation and therefore, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs must quickly tell the nation whether this is government policy to indirectly or directly allow this to occur.Mr Kalaba says the ministry should further tell the nation whether what has been witnessed is the new dawn administration’s new policy.Mr Kalaba said he has never seen or heard such a practice, not even in the Vienna convention hence, for them […]
