ZPPA SUSPENDS VGLUX RESOURCES CORPARATION LIMITED FROM PARTICIPATING IN PUBLIC PROCUREMENT

Zambia Public Procurement Authority (ZPPA) has with immediate effect suspended Vglux Resources Corporation Limited from participating in public procurement in Zambia for one year. The decision to suspend Vglux Resources Corporation Limited is pursuant to section 96 of the Public Procurement Act Number 8 of 2020 and Regulation 167 of the Public Procurement Regulations, 2011.ZPPA- Public Relations Officer NCHIMUNYA MUGANYA has confirmed this in a statement to ZNBC News today.Mr MUGANYA said all all procuring entities are expected to enforce the suspension by ensuring that they do not award contracts, sale or issue solicitation documents to Vglux Resources Corporation Limited.She said that no one is expected to enter into any other dealings or communications with the company except in respect of existing contracts signed prior to the suspension.Ms MUGANYA however said the suspension includes any “successor in interest” including any entit which employs, or is associated with Vglux Resources Corporation Limited.ZNBC
