By ADRIAN MWANZAANYONE who has information that witnesses in the Jackson Kungo case are being compromised should come forward and report the matter so that the police can investigate the matter, says North-Western Province Deputy Police Commissioner Dr Fred Mulenga.Dr Mulenga in an interview said that the Kungo case was not in their jurisdiction and claims by some people that witnesses were being tampered with were unfortunate.He however, advised that those with information of witness tampering should report to police so that investigations can be carried out.Recently, PF chairperson for Publicity Raphael Nakacinda claimed that a UPND official had facilitated the movement of witnesses from Solwezi to Lusaka.But Dr Mulenga said, “This matter is in the hands of the high Court and as you are aware, we arrested about 11 people in relation to his death but if there are people that are using underhand methods then people should come forward with evidence,” he said.Dr […]
