By OLIVER SAMBOKOONE of the UPND founding members and businessman, Patrick Chisanga says he respects the opinion of people calling on him and other former leaders to rejoin the party but that it’s a matter that he will first need to reflect on.Mr Chisanga together with other senior members like Bob Sichinga and United Liberal Party (ULP) leader Sakwiba Sikota left the UPND in the aftermath of the UPND convention following the death of its founding leader, Anderson Mazoka.Some members of the UPND, led by former Siavonga District Commissioner Lovemore Kanyama, have called on Mr Chisanga and Mr Sikota to consider putting aside their individual political interests and rejoin their former party.The members are of the view that Mr Chisanga and Mr Sikota, as founding members understood the ideologies of the UPND and it was therefore important that they go back to help the party achieve its developmental agenda.
