5 NDC bigwigs reject ‘President’ MusengeBy ROGERS KALEROFIVE senior officials of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), including former Anglican priest Father Richard Luonde have refused to work under the leadership of newly appointed party president Mwenya Musenge.Mr Musenge confirmed that the five senior officials have refused to work with him and shunned a meeting of the national governing council (NGC) called to resolve issues which they had raised as some of the reasons why they had refused to work with him.In an interview in Kitwe yesterday, Mr Musenge said he was extremely disappointed that the five, Father Luonde, Mr Newton Chabala, Professor Atanga and the other two who were the cornerstone of the NDC had decided not to work with him, but however wished them well in their political endeavours.Mr Musenge also said those who were not comfortable with the position of NDC on various issues should not continue to claim to be members of […]
