By GRACE CHAILE LESOETSAMINISTRY of Justice Permanent Secretary Andrew Nkunika has sued the Patriotic Front (PF) for describing his Facebook love messages to his wife, Towani, as ridiculous and is demanding K10 million for defamation.Mr Nkunika and his wife who have cited former PF Secretary-General Davies Mwila as the defendant in the matter are claiming exemplary damages as well as an injunction restraining the party or its agents from making statements about them that are defamatory.They are also demanding interest at commencial lending rate.According to documents filed into the Lusaka High Court yesterday, Mr Nkunika and his wife who stood as an independent candidate in Chasefu constituency alleged that on October 21, this year, the party published on its Facebook page a statement which read, “Love or Guilty – Ministry of Justice PS Andrew Nkunika has continued to post ridiculous love posts to his new wife on Facebook….Live or nichani.”The duo claim that the said […]
