Lawyer Inambao forgery case dragsBy CHARLES MUSONDASUSPENDED lawyer Nathaniel Inambao yesterday failed to appear in the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court in a case he is jointly charged with his former legal assistant Mubanga Chibonga for allegedly forging a dead man’s Will.The case was yesterday scheduled for continued cross-examination of forensic expert David Zulu from Zambia Police’s forensic sciences but Inambao was not present when the matter was called.His defence lawyer Charles Changano told Magistrate Judith Chiyayika that Inambao, who is also former Commissioner of Lands, was not reachable on his mobile phone.Particulars of offence are that between January 26, 2018 and June 30, 2018, with intent to deceive or defraud, Inambao and Chibonga jointly forged the Will for the late Dominic Chimfwembe and uttered it to his widow Carol Musonda whom the latter had married after divorcing with his first wife, Beauty Kafwimbi.The case has been adjourned to December 7, 2021.Last October the Lusaka High Court […]
